Children of unstable and vulnerable familes are at increased risk of abuse and neglect. The Child and Family Research Partnership studies how policies at multiple levels - family, workforce, courtroom, community - can not only reduce, but more importantly, prevent abuse and neglect of children.

Child Welfare Workforce
To meet their mission to protect children from abuse and neglect, child welfare agencies must must recruit and hire qualified applicants, provide training that adequately prepares new caseworkers to perform their job responsibilities, and retain high performing staff.

Child and Family Outcomes
A large network of entities engage with children who are part of child welfare system. Each organization, from the child welfare agency to the family courts to advocates to NGOs, is driven to find the best outcome for each child and family.
