Please welcome our new research staff! McKenna LeClear, Research Associate; Bethany McKee, Research Associate; Jeanette Cunningham Rottas, Data Research Associate; Anna Sucsy, Research Assistant; and Patrick Youngblood, Data Research Associate.

McKenna LeClear, MA

McKenna is a Research Associate on the child wellbeing team at CFRP, working on child welfare and adolescent health projects. She holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame, where she was a Graduate Fellow with the Kellogg Institute for International Studies specializing in sociology of religion. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Tulsa. Prior to coming to CFRP, McKenna worked as a research assistant at Notre Dame studying parental decisions regarding transmission of religion to their children.

Bethany McKee, MPP

Bethany is a Research Associate at CFRP working primarily on fatherhood projects. She holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California and a B.B.A. in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin. She serves on the board of the local nonprofit, A Spacious Place, Inc., and has volunteered with the organization for over a decade, providing creative expression for underserved populations in Central Texas.

Jeanette Cunningham Rottas, MA

Jeanette is a Data Research Associate whose work as part of the CFRP data team focuses on the impacts of early childhood investments. She holds a Master in Latin American Studies, with a focus on Economic Development, and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, both from Georgetown University. She is fluent in Spanish. Prior to joining CFRP, Jeanette provided data analysis, impact assessment, and strategic planning consulting services to non-profit and social benefit-focused organizations. Previously she worked for an economic development consulting firm where she managed projects, conducted research, and performed quantitative, qualitative, and spatial data analysis for public and private sector clients.

Anna Sucsy

Anna is a Research Assistant supporting the family strengthening team at CFRP, specifically the family supports, early childhood investments, and fatherhood projects. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and French from Bates College. As a student, she conducted research on parental involvement in elementary education, focusing on the experiences of immigrant and refugee families. Prior to coming to CFRP, Anna served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Senegal.

Patrick Youngblood, MA

Patrick is a Data Research Associate on the CFRP data team and focuses on early childhood investments and family strengthening. He holds an M.A. in International Economics from American University in Washington, D.C. and a B.A. in History from The University of Texas at Austin. His academic research used home mortgage data to examine the relationship between financial distress, mortality, and mental health. Prior to joining CFRP, Patrick was a teacher at McCallum High School in Austin ISD.
