The LBJ School: Dr. Osborne on Camera

At the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin, Policy Research Projects (PRP) are where real world policy and academic research converge for our graduate students. The LBJ School is kicking off an innovative PRP Video Journal Series profiling CFRP's Dr. Cynthia Osborne and her year long PRP, "Fighting a New War on Poverty".

Many of the bold initiatives that President LBJ put in place in his War on Poverty in 1964 made a huge impact, but we all know there's much more to accomplish. During the year, Dr. Osborne will challenge her students to create a new, realistic agenda for fighting poverty and ensuring social mobility today. The LBJ School will be filming the class throughout the fall and spring semesters and sharing the final piece at the LBJ School's culminating events in 2015 for the "50 on 50 Celebration" of LBJ’s legacy.
