Early Childhood Development at PK-12 Public Education Forum in San Antonio

CFRP Director Dr. Cynthia Osborne joined other experts at the third annual Regional PK-12 Public Education Forum in San Antonio on March 6, 2018 where the discussion focused on early childhood development. San Antonio is home to the Pre-K San Antonio program, an initiative launched by former San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro providing high quality pre-Kindergarten services for four-year-old children.

The annual forum convened stakeholders and experts in education, early childhood, and teaching. Charles Butt, CEO of the HEB Grocery Company and public education philanthropist, was also honored as the 2018 Education Champion.

Dr. Osborne led a panel including Kelsy Clark, (Principal, Boston Consulting Group, Dallas), Dr. Alejandra Barraza, (Principal, Carroll Early Childhood Education Center - SAISD), and Dr. Sarah Baray (CEO, Pre-K 4 SA).
