Dr. Cynthia Osborne, CFRP Director and Associate Professor at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, and CFRP were recently awarded two grants worth over $1.4 million.
With the new funding, CFRP will continue its implementation evaluation of the Texas Home Visiting Program for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and the two related evaluations focusing on father participation and family retention.
CFRP is also now developing the first Texas-specific estimation model of the cost of raising a child, for the Texas Office of the Attorney General - Child Support Division. CFRP will identify the actual costs associated with childrearing and illustrate how families across various income levels and social circumstances meet these costs.
Congratulations to all!
