Julia Durnan is a Master of Public Affairs candidate at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Prior to LBJ, she worked at the Urban Institute’s Justice Policy Center, where she provided research support to projects related to criminal and juvenile justice policy reform. At Urban, her research focused on comprehensive justice reform, decarceration strategies, closing youth prisons, and understanding the impact of reform on state and local justice systems. She received her BA with distinction in public policy from Duke University with minors in African American studies and Spanish. At CFRP, she supports projects in early childhood investment.
