Heidi is a member of the state policy team for CFRP's Prenatal-to-Three Policy Impact Center. She holds a BA in Sociology from Rice University and a Master in Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. Before coming to the LBJ School, Heidi was a Community Engagement Fellow with UNICEF USA and worked on the marketing team at Verb, a social enterprise start-up in Austin. During her time at LBJ, she was part of Cynthia Osborne's policy research project that evaluated language coaching intervention programs in Austin childcare centers in partnership with United Way for Greater Austin. For her LBJ internship, she worked with the Urban Institute's Child Care and Development Fund database team, researching child care subsidy policies.
