Brittney Taylor is a candidate for the Master of Public Affairs (DC Concentration) at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. She graduated with High Honors in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and is specifically interested in child welfare, child and family policy, and women’s rights issues. Prior to graduate school, Brittney worked for eight years as a caseworker for Child Protective Services and at a non-profit child welfare agency. Her experience convinced her of the need for policy changes and enhanced advocacy approaches to better serve at-risk children, families, and women. Brittney supports the data collection needs at CFRP.
