Abby is part of the family strengthening team at CFRP. She is a Ph.D. candidate in public policy at the LBJ School. Abby's dissertation research focuses on child care issues and maternal wellbeing among low-income mothers with nonstandard work schedules. Prior to entering the Ph.D. program, Abby worked as a policy fellow covering family economic security, education, and employment issues at the National Women's Law Center in Washington, DC. She holds an M.P.P. from The George Washington University and a B.A. in political science from St. Olaf College.
